Lundi 15 février ont eu lieu les 1ères assises professionnelles de la marque Pays Cathare au Conseil Général de l’Aude, à Carcassonne.
La salle était comble, et bien sûr, les guides y étaient présents.
La marque Pays Cathare existe depuis 1992 (l’association des guides fut fondée peu après !). Donc, il était temps de donner une nouvelle impulsion au développement et de réfléchir – avec des professionnelles, les 1000 marqués organisés en 33 filières – sur une nouvelle stratégie marketing. Vendre plus, vendre mieux.
Le cadre est donné avec quatre lignées de produits :
1) Gastronomie et saveurs
2) Séjours
3) Activités et découvertes (là, on trouve les guides conférenciers, les sports de pleine nature et les sites)
4) Artisanat d’Art et accueil vigneron.
Dans les filières du tourisme, la marque Pays Cathare est articulée avec la marque Sud de France. Sophie Millet, qui gère la marque au niveau du CDT, a présenté des priorités de la stratégie: mettre en avant le patrimoine etc. J'ai insisté auprès d'elle qu'il faut profiter du fait qu'on a dans ce département un atout non négligeable : une association de guides professionnels et engagés dans la démarche qualité de la arque Pays Cathare. Je considère qu'il faudrait - d'une manière plus offensive - mettre les guides en avant!
Dans quelques mois, le Comité départemental du tourisme (CDT) mettra en place un site spécifique à la marque Pays Cathare : www.payscathare.com
Un des aspects très appréciés de ces réunions est l’occasion de rencontrer beaucoup de personnes et de renouer des contacts.
