J’ai accueilli des journalistes suisses à la demande du comité de tourisme de l’Aude et du comité régional du Languedoc-Roussillon pour leur faire découvrir une partie de la richesse du département.
On a commencé avec une visite de la cité de Carcassonne – patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO – passage obligé et hautement intéressant pour bien comprendre l’histoire de cette région.
Ensuite, on est allé à Cucugnan pour manger. Là, nous avons pu déguster les saveur du pays cathare. Les producteurs qui ont obtenus cette marque de qualité répondent à des cahiers de charge spécifiques qui garantissent qualité, origine et authenticité des savoir faire.
Les melons étaient succulents !
Et pour la promenade digestive, nous sommes montés au château de Quéribus, le dernier bastion qui tombait entre les mains du roi de France en 1255 pour être transformé dans cette forteresse dont on voit les ruines aujourd’hui. L’impressionnante architecture de la salle du pilier vaut toujours le déplacement.
Après avoir traversé les Corbières – avec des paysages déserts et sauvages -, les journalistes ont passé la nuit au complexe hôtelier des Jardins de St.Benoît à St.Laurent de la Cabrerisse.
